Prior to the orders noticed officially in the overnment organ of yesterday for the movement of Inited States troops from Baton Rouge to Brownsville, in Btructions had been sent to the United States officers com- manding on the Arizona and Sonora frontiers not only to epeal aggreesions, but to follow the enemy, whether In- dians or Mexicans, into their own territory. On the Rio Grande frontier the United States troops ‘will, no doubt, pay as little respect to the boundary line as the Mexican marauders bave done. They will invade Mexican torri- fory, and this will be soon. Every thing tends, in fact, to- wards the inception of another war with Mexico. Doubts are entertained whether apy treaty can be made ‘with the Juarez government, or whether that government can exist another year. The President has, it is said, taken a new position in regard to Mexico, and what it is ‘we shal see when the message appears. But it is believed that he will recommend the seizure and occupation of ©ertain peints in Mexiean territory for the purpose of pro- fectiug, not Mexico, but the persons aud property of Amorvean citizens.
