An old shipwaster writes from Fairfied, lewa, an ac- sount of the precautions taken by him in 1851, while his weasel was at Rio Janciro, to avoid yellow fever, which was then alarmingly fatal at that port. A correspondent writing from Minatitlan gives details of the moce in which the Louisiana Tehuantepec Company hed all their coode on the Iethmusseized and passed over into the bands of A.C. Allen (representative of a firm to which the company is largely indebted) as receiver. He waye the credit of the company is ata very low ebb in Mexico. SHE ESTABLISHED CHURCH IN IRELAND.
