Domestic News. eens Acorwent.—A letter from Cario to a MEDICAL. avan be Sepehanl Culod on Tieusaeer, vee the partioulare of an accidentto the Steamer Harry of the West, hevce for New Orleans. That vessel rounded, it is stated, ten miles above Cape Girar- eau. She swung round against the bank, and came near sinking, but wassaved by throwing’ over- board 100 of 200 tons of freight, which lightened her stera up and stopped the leak. The cargo thrown overboard wonsisted of tobacco, castor oil, hemp, &e. Aftershe had been detained some time, she proceeded om her voyageand reached Cairo, where the Eclipse and Caledonia were lying. The cattle suijped on the Harry of the West were put ashore, and left where she grounded. The steamer Harry of the West was met under way by the Louisa, 75 miles oe moxth of the Ohio.— S¢.
