TRUGKS HIT THREE, BOYS LEG BROKEN Man Struck on Arch Street Has Painful Gash on Head Three light trucks figured in three accidents Wednesday afternoon and evening, all hitting pedestrians, of whom required hospital atten- tion. The first accident occurred at 3 P. m. when Victor Stankiewicz, driv- | er of a milk truck, and living at 248 Washington street, stopped in front | of a house on Lawlor street about 100 feet from North street. When he stopped the truck he heard some- body vell, “His foot is under the wheel.” He relcased the brakes and allowed the truck to roll ahead a few feet and then stopped and | alighted to see what had happened. | He found a boy about 16 or 17 ye | old dancing about with one foot drag- | ging, and he said that the truck had stopped on his foot. Stankiewicz re- ported to the police that he did not see any young man nearby when he parked and cannot understand how the boy got his foot under the rear wheel.
