The accident occurred November 21, nine months after his entrance into the Air Force. Ralph, who is right handed, may have to learn to use his left hand if Army doc- tors cannot repair the damage to his right arm. Mrs. Placencia flew from Key West when the Air Forces com- manding officer wired her that Ralph was gravely injured and asking for her. From Miami she flew to Chicago and then on to San Francisco where she was met by YMCA offi- cials who has been notified of her ‘ryival by Evans here in Key West.
