Guillobel and his official party stop-over in Key West while on a tour of the country at the invitation of the Secretary of the Navy, Dan Kimball. This morning, shortly after ten o'clock, Guillobel and his entour- | age of Brazilian and United States naval officers were escorted aboard the USS Clamagore, sub- marine flagship of Capt. C. H. An- drews, Submarine Squadron Four commander. Secretary Guillobel wore a dark blue serge suit and a soft brimmec gray hat as he walked up Pier § ‘at the Naval Station with Rear Admiral Irving T. Duke, command er of al the naval activities in the Key West area. They were fol lowed by others in the Brazilian Admiral’s party and piped aboard the Clamagore while the officers and men of the submarine stood at rigid attention in their spotless white uniforms. On deck to meet the boarding party were the entire Clamagore personnel and officers headed by George F. Morin, Lt- Cmdr. Anthony J. Miller, Lt. Hugh Nott, Lts. (jg) John F, Cohoon, Warren L. Spry, William M. Cossa- boom and Frank T. Watkins, Jr., who took charge of the press and photographers. Secretary Guillobel spent a few minutes on the deck of the subma- rine chatting with its officers, then followed the skipper down the for- word hatch. Below decks he in- spected the submarine and had cof- fee in the wardroom. At the close of the 45 minute visit, he inspected the Clamagore’s crew, On the two day stay in Key West the Secretaryand Vice Admiral will tour the Key West Naval Bases and be feted at various social events including a cocktail party tonight at Fort Taylor given by high ranking U. S. officers. The-Brazilian entourage arrived yesterday afternoun at 4:36 p, m. from Rio de Janeiro in a four en- gine Navy transport plane which set down its wheels at the Naval Air Station, Boca Chica field after 22 hours flying time.
