Hill was indicted on a charge of second degree murder by the Monroe County Grand Jury. : The Jury brought in first de- gree murder indictments of Carl Carmichael, Sr, and Jr. who are charged with drowning Allen Harris, also known as Mellow Moon. The Carmicheels are out on $15,000 bond for the father and $5,000 for the son. They were released from jail follow- ing a hearing before Judge Lo- pez. Caraballo has been in Monroe County’ Jail since June 26, 1950, when he allegedly shot Gilberto Yglesia on the balcony of the County Courthouse during the trial of the latter for the alleged murder of Caraballo’s step- daughter. Caraballo had a mistrial in October 1950. He has been await— ing a new trial since that time.
