Minutes of Regular Meeting held June 12, 1911. The village council of the village of Marbie, met in regular this 12th day of June, 1911, all mem- bers present. The minutes of last meeting were read and approved. The following correspondence was read and disposed of in the follow- ing manner: St. Paul Foundry’s let- ter in regard to lamp posts, which had been referred to the village electrician, was taken up on his re- port and the clerk was authorized to write the St. Paul Foundry that the lamp posts had been repaired; to furnish them a statement of cost and to issue a village voucher for the balance of retainer. This on by Trustee Michela, was duly car- ried. A motion was made by Trustee Fitzgerald, seconded by Trustee Michela, that the special committee appointed, which consists of Trustees Ekman and Fitzgerald, be authoriz- ed to employ Messrs. Chalburg & Baum to erect a bandstand, provid- ing arrangements can be made with the Oliver Iron Mining Co. for the use of the grounds. The motion carried. It was moved by Trustee Fitzger- ald, seconded by Trustee Ekman and carried that the report of the night marshal be accepted. The estimate of Village Engineer Chamberlin of the work done by H. L. Bartlett Co, from the Ist day of April to the 1st day of Juné, was taken up and same was returned to Mr. Chamberlain with the request that he check this estimate with the previous estimates of Engineer Driese so that no allowance may be made for material on the ground, which may have been taken up in the previous estimates. A motion was made by Trustee Michela, seconded by Trustee Fitz- gerald, that a contract be entered nto with A. E. Perrier, as per con- tract on file with the village clerk.
