HUBBARD DIES AT AGE OF % Connecticut Gentleman Farmer Was Husband of Muriel McCormick. By the Associated Press. MIDDLETOWN, Conn., December 26.—Elisha Dyer Hubbard, descendant & brother of E. Kent Hubbard, pred- dent of the Manufacturers Association of Connecticut, succumbed to a long iliness at his estate, Lone Tree Farm. Born in Chicago, January 21, 1878, Hubbard came to Middletown, which was founded by his ancestors, as & small boy, His father, the late Elijah K. Hubbard, was & widely known Mid- dletown banker. After completing his education at B8t. Mark’s School, Southboro, Mass., Hubbard worked for a brief period in ‘Wall Street and then returned to Mid- dletown to follow his interest in agri- culture on his estate here. He enlist- ed with the Yale Mobile Unit, Ambu- lance Corps, which served with dis- tinction under fire in France. His marriage to Miss McCormick, & member of the wealthy Chicago fam- ily, took place at Bar Harbor, Me., on September 10, 1931. Two sisters, Mrs. Clarence S. Wadsworth of Middletown and Mrs. Carl S. Puneral®services for William A. Boss, 59, vice president of the Waggaman & Brawner Realty Co. who was killed Thursday in an automobile accident, will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the S. H. Hines funeral establishment, 2901 Fourteenth street. Rev. Henry T. Cocke, rector of All Saints’ Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Mr. Boss, who lived at 5404 Thirty- ninth street, was on his way to Arling- ton Cemetery to place flowers on the graves of his wife's father and mother when his coupe was in collision with & truck at Forty-first and Webster streets. His wife, Mrs. Alice P. Boss, and sister-in-law, Miss Caroline B. Parker, who were riding with him, were injured in the crash. Born in Washington August 8, 1877, and educated in the public schools, Mr. Boss had been in the real estate business for 40 years.
