C—12 ‘MUTINY’ ON SHIP REPORTED ENDED Firemen on Alaskan Freighter i Return to Work on Word From Union. By the Associated Press. SEATTLE, October 10.—Crew dif- culties, described as a “mutiny” by Capt. H. Ryning of the Freighter Tanana, were reported settled yester- day, but the Coast Guard patrol boat, Morris, moved on across the Guif of Alaske in response to Tuesday's appeal. On that day, Alaska Steamship Co. officials announced the freighter was in an “exposed and dangerous posi- tion,” because firemen refused to per- form longshoremen’s work at the lesser firemen's wages. The freighter is at Kodiak Island. District Coast Guard headquarters here said instructions to the Morris were unchanged. The firemen returned to work after receiving instruction from their union beadquarters in San Francisco. B Church Unification Favored. 'ASHEVILLE, N.
