Among many interesting places, they spent & short time in Old Mexico, a longer time in California, where they visited in Glendale and attended the commencement exercises at the Col- lege of Medical Evangelists in Loma Linda, where their nephew, Dr. Need- ham Martin, received his degree. They also went through to the Yose- mite Valley. On their return they stopped for several days at the Boul- der Sanitarium in Boulder, Colo., and while in the Colorado mountains met Gov. and Mrs. Alf Landon. Miss Virginia Judd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Judd of Takoma Park, | Md,, is passing two weeks in Philadel- phia visiting her aunt, Mrs. Virginia Roberts. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Haar have returned to their Lorton, Va., home after a short visit to Atlantic City Rev. and Mrs. Bowen Have Family Reunion An interesting family reunion took place in the home of the Rev. and Mrs. Tyler E. Bowen in Takoma Park Wednesday. all of the members being present. The Rev. and Mrs. W. A. Nelson and their four children, Edwin, Beatrice, Dorothy and Paul. came from New York City; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Cunningham and their three children, Edgar, Gertrude and Evelyn, live in Takoma Park; the Rev. and Mrs. Cameron A. Carter and their daugh- ter, Leonora Mae, recently returned on furlough from China, where they nave been missionaries for 13 years, and Mr. and Mrs. William T. Bowen with their three children. Edson, Ra- fael and Virginia, who also live in Ta- koma Park.
