Mail or Phowe Orders Filled—NA. 1133 Reception Planned At Quantico Post Tomorrow Evening PLANS are being completed for a reception at the Officers’ Club at Quantico tomorrow evening honoring the wives of the delegates attending the National Sojourners annual meet- ing, tomorrow and Thursday, at the Mayflower Hotel. Maj. Gen. Charles H. Lyman, com- mandant at Quantico, will receive the delegates and their wives at Quantico Thursday afternoon, at which time a parade and review of the fleet Marine force will be given. Supper will follow in the Marine Barracks, after which the ladies in the party will be entertained at the Officers’ Club. The Sojourners are made up of officers of the United States Army, Navy and Marine Corps, Coast and Geodetic Survey and Coast Guard who are Masons. More than 500 delegates from all sectjons of the country and foreign countries are expected. Mr. and Mrs. Smith Attend Convention Representative and Mrs. Martin F. Smith of Washingten State went to Philadelphia yesterday, the former being a delegate to the Democratic convention. He will be the guest speaker Sunday at the John Morton Museum, and with Mrs. Smith will return to Washington the first of the week to remain several days before going to their home at Grays Har- or, Wash. EDWIN ROWLAND will entertain at luncheon at the Shoreham Saturday for Lady Broder- ick, widow of the late Sir John Joyce Broderick, former British Minister to Cuba, and for Mrs. Rowland’s daugh- ter, Miss Katherine Darling Rowland, whose wedding to Lady Broderick's son, Mr. Maurice Joyce Broderick, will take place Monday.
