NEW YORK, October 25.—Heavy demand for oils, mining shares and utilities brought advances up minor fractions to around 5 points on the Curb Market today. Specialties were extremely buoyant in some cases, although the turnover ‘was generally small. American Gas & Electric was an outstanding performer among the utilities with a gain of 1% points at 37%.
