The Gold Dome has been a landmark in the National Capital shining out like a beacon in its business history. Just think of all the thousands of homes we Seventh at Eye Streets have furnished during this half century! Three generations have looked to us as furniture head- quarters; have trusted to us for quality: de- pended upon us in price; pointed to us ‘‘their store’’—the Home of “Furniture of Merit.” You've seen this business grow, keeping pace with changing times—but with a changeless policy that has adhered to those principles of stewardship and those finer ethics of business that have crowned our efforts with success and cemented business acquaintances into fast and firm business friends. You can’t imagine how thrilling it was dur- ing the Golden Jubilee Anniversary Sale to shake hands with those whom we have served continuously for varying periods of time—from fifty years down to the newcomers to Washing- ton of the past year. Talk about a re-union— a home coming—we've been holding a gala re- ception from the day the Jubilee Sale started up to last night when it closed. The Jubilee Sale however was only the pro- logue to what we have planned to make an eventful year. We are going to keep right on celebrating the Golden Anniversary. You will see the spirit of it given practical demonstration in the special values at special prices which will be featured all over the store—all during 1935. Don’t wait for specific announcements. When you need furniture, whether it is suites or occasional pieces; or floor coverings—just re- mind yourself that this is Golden Jubilee Year at House of Herrmann’s—and that you are prom- ised Golden Opportunities. We don’t know of any more sincere way to say ‘“thank you,” and we want to thank you most sincerely and with deepest appreciation. House & Herrmann “Furniture of Merit 8433-35 Ga.
