_ B2 Mrs. Roosev Guest at New York Tonight Will First Attend Benefit Concert for Club for Unemployed Girls Which She Organized. RS. ROOSEVELT will be en- tertained at supper this eve- ning in New York by Mrs. William Randolph Hearst, in her home, 137 Riverside drive. The supper party will follow the con- cert at the Metropolitan Opera House for the benefit of the Eleanor Roosevelt Club for Unemployed Girls. The artists at the concert will be Ameri- cans and will be guests at the supper. Mrs. Roosevelt will leave at mid- night tonight for her return to the White House. Mrs. Harold L. Ickes, wife of the Secretary of the Interior, and Mme. Djalal, wife of the Minister of Iran, were the ranking guests at a lunch- eon which Mrs. Emil Hurja gave to- day in her home. ‘The newly appointed United States Minister to Venezuela and Mrs. Mere- dith Nicholson, who have been on leave in their home, in Indiana, spent a day at the Willard on their way to New York. They will sail today to the Minister's new post, at Caracas, a post he has been transferred to from Paraguay, where he has served as Minister for some months.
