R. K. MELLON PLEDGES AID TO REBUILD CHURCH Pastor of St. Patrick’s, Pittsburgh Landmark, Announces New Structure to Be Erected. By the Associated Press. PITTSBURGH, Pa, April 1.—Rev. James R. Cox, whose church burned 10 days ago, yesterday assured his parishioners that “a new St. Patrick’s will rise from the ruins of the old,” and disclosed that Richard K. Mellon in the high places and the low, who have pledged their aid.” ‘The priest, noted for his work among the poor, said that Mellon had of- fered “to serve on any committee or help in any way requested” to re- build the old church, a Pittsburgh landmark.
