NEW YORK, March 27.—Increased activity and a fairly broad upward trend marked the United States Gov- ernment list in the late bond market trading today. Corporate issues were generally bet- ter supported than yesterday, but weakness persisted in a number of the secondary rails. Treasury issues led the advance in the Federals, with maximum gains running from 6-32ds to 9-32ds of a point A decline of about 34 of a point in Liberty called Fourth 4!is was occasioned by the approaching dead- line for conversion into new Treasury 27 per cent bonds.
