NEW YORK, December 8. —Trading in the bond market during the short session today was of a perfunctory character and values had no definit® trend. This was true of all the do- mestic groups, with small overbalancing the gains. In contrast to the active investment interest in United States Governments during the first half of the week. the| market today was decidedly listless. Treasury issues were virtually un changed. Home Owners' Loan 23;s| and 3s slipped off 4-32ds of a point| to 9528 and 98.28. respectively.
