He was graduated from the Law School of New York Univer- | sity in 1900 and came to Montana in | the following year to practice his | profession. He married Miss Viola Horgan, daughter of a prominent business man of Memphis, Tenn., and | has six strapping sons, all university men, who took an active part in their | father’s pre-election campaign. Was County Attorney. In 1906 Mr. Murray was elected | | county attorney here. Up to hisg nomination and election as Senator | | he had never held or sought &ny po- litical office since the expiration of his term as county attorney.
