Wil-| liam Lewis Allen installed the new officers, Florence Robbins Keene, 60, a mu- sic teacher in the Washington schools for the past 36 years, died Sunday at Emergency Hospital. Miss Keene, who lived at 1301 Fif- teenth street, was a native of Wash- ington and a graduate of the Normal School here. She also received a de- gree from Dartmouth College. In September of 1898 she entered the school system and in 1905 was assigned to teach music in the Nor- mal School and in the grades of the regular school system. Later in 1912 she taught music in the high schools. Since April of 1915 Miss Keene has been connected with McKinley High School in the music department. At an early age Mr. Boswell learned his trade s a painter when the first river amusement boat was launched in the Potomac, about 45 years ago.
