ANNAPOLIS, Md., July 1.—Capt. and Mrs. Ralston S. Holmes were hosts at a swimming party Sunday with lunch- eon served on the banks of the Severn River at Round Bay. The party was given in honor of Capt. and Mrs. Robert Munere of Washington and asked to the party to meet them were Mrs. C. Erskine Clement and Lieut. Comdr. and Mrs. J. Harrison Colhoun. Capt. and Mrs. Munere were week end guests of Capt. and Mrs. Holmes in quarters of the commandant of mid- | shipmen at the Naval Academy. Mrs. Holmes was hostess at tea yesterday to the officers in the executive department of the Academy and their wives. Mrs. Holmes will leave Annapolis the first of next week for Chicago, where she will be the guest of her father, Mr. Willilam Bond, until August 1, when she will return to Annapolis and | join Capt.
