Dr. Henry Smith Munroe, 83, well known geologist and mining engineer, who suffered a stroke here in March and was taken to Litchfield, Conn., in an ambulance several days ago, died yes- terday at his home in the Connecticut city, according to an Associated Press dispatch. He had spent a part of his time here for several years, and was a consulting engineer with the Bureau of Mines in 1917. His local address was 2540 Massachusetts avenue. Koehlerschmidt, 67, of 1707 Columbia road died suddenly last night while attending midweek prayer services at Calvary Methodist Episcopal Church. She had just entered the church when she collapsed in the hall- way. A doctor, her husband and the fire rescue squad were summoned, but she was pronounced dead by Dr. I. M. Alpher on his arrival. Death was ascribed to heart disease. Until last evening Mrs. Koehler- schmidt apparently was in good health. She suffered a slight attack en route to church, but after a rest sald she was able to go on. She is survived by her husband, s daughter, Mrs. Elsie Holtgreve, of this) city; two sons, Robert F., of Wash- ington and Charles G., Baitimore, and three grandchildren, Elsie Louise and Ruth Holtgreve and Dorothy Koehler- schmidt.
