D. . GASOLINE TAX YIELDS $2033678 Receipts Last Year Exceed- ed Totals Collected in Six States. Gasoline tax receipts collected in the District during 1932 totaled more than the amounts collected in six States in the Union, according to statistics made Fublbic by the Bureau of Publbic Roads, | 997 ¥ Department of Agriculture. The total revenue from this source in ike District last year was $2,039,678, according to the bureau’s report. This fgure is greater than the totals for Nevada, which was $727,117; Wyoming, [ £1,418,145; Rhode Island, $1,857,711; North Dakota, $1,837,151; Vermont, $1,- 874,648, and Delaware, $1,090,150. ‘The tax rate in the District as of Dccember 31, 1932, the bureau repom Stated, is the same as the rate in necticut, Missouri and Rhode Island.
