NEW YORK, April 13.—Stronger at| the opening, today's Curb Market | turned irregular around noon as tnd-! ing slackened. Dealings were about 25 | per cent less in volume than those of| Tuesday. Electric Bond & Share moved within a fractional range on diminished deal- ings. Cities Service was off about % point while Standard Oil of Kentucky Was up that amount. Standard Oil of Indiana was virtually unchanged Public utilities turned erratic follow- ing publication of the weekly electrical output figures, which reached the low- est level of the depression. Electrical output in the past week was down 11.1 per cent as against 119 per cent in | the preceding week. Other weekly trade reviews were as unfavorable as had been forecast. The rise in both gasoline stocks and daily crude ofl output and the decline in weekly car loadings contributed to the selling of petroleum and rail shares. Brazilian Traction, which showed strength in London and Montreal, moved against the general market trend of utllities here. American Light & | Traction preferred, Long Island ugmm{ and Middle West Utilities were the fi to reach new low levels. Southern Col- | orado Power “A” and United Light & Power convertible preferred staged re- coveries of a point and more. New England Power & Light preferred rose a shade. Humble Ofl led the descent of the| Standard Ol division as it reached 413 | for the first time in three years. Alum- inum Co. of America made a similar | record in the metals as it dropped to | 251, 1In the inactive specialties Rub- | erold declined 2 points to a new low. | Pipe lines were rather inactive de- | spite publication of their March deliv- | eries.
