By the Assoclated Press. PARIS, July 9.—A squadron of six Jong-range air cruisers left Paris for Brussels today on a month’s tour of Europe and the Near East to advance the interests of aviation. Each machine was piloted by a fa- mous French airman and the squadron was commanded by Gen. De Goys. Among the pilots was Maj. Dieudonne Coste. Mechanical experts from motor and airplane factories completed the personnel. The itinerary allows time for lengthy halts and speed or distance records will not be sought. The equipment consists of airplanes of two different makes and three types of motors of 500 and 600 horsepower each.
