BLAKESLEE RITES SET Pervices to Be Held at Fountain Memorial Baptist Church. TFuneral services for Mrs. Susie H. Blakeslee, who died early yesterday at her residence, 1912 Naylor road scuth- east, will be held at Fountain Memx rial Baptist Church at 2 o'clock tomor- row afternoon. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Blakeslee was born in Balti- more, but had lived in Washington many years. Besides her husband she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wagner, Detroit, and Mrs. Agnes Weedoen, Washington, and two brothers, Frank Townsend, Baltimore, and Arth- ur Townsend, Washington. Parham, Widow of Detective Sergeant, to Rest in Glenwood Cemetery. Funeral services for Mrs. Jessle C. Parham, 621 Twenty-second street, who died Saturday after being prostrated by the heat, will be held at Joseph Gawler’s Sons funeral home, 1754 Penn- sylvania avenue, Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Mrs, Parham, who had suffered a slight heart attack several days ago, was sitting in a chair at her home when stricken. She was the widow of Detective Sergt. Alpha W. Brock, who died at his home, 410 Cedar street, Takoma Park, Saturday, will be held tomorrow morning at 9:30 o'clock at the Takoma Park Baptist Church, Rev. Willigm E. LaRue, pastor of the church, will officlate. Burial will be in Glenwaod Cemetery, with Masonic rites. Mr. Brock, who had been a resident of the District his entire life, was an active worker in the Takoma Park church, with which he had been con- nected many years. He was born in this city in 1872 and received his early education in the local public schools. Later he attended George Washington University. At the time of his death he was con- nected with the United States Bureau of Public Roads in ‘the position of car- tographer. At one time he was in the Forestry Service and was once with the Geological Survey. He was a member of Takoma , No. 29, F. A. A. M., members of which will act as pall- bearers at the funeral. He is survived by his widow, Florence Clapp Brock; a son, Willlam Shepherd Brock, and a brother, Morgan 8. Brock, of Bradley lane, Chevy Chase.
