Tauft, alias Emanuel Luftiiz of Philadelphia, who police claimed escaped from St. Eliza-' beth’s Hospital for the Criminal In- sane, Washington, D. C., was being held in the State police barracks nere today. Working on a “tip” furnished by Wil- llam Warfield of Philadelphia, a former keeger at the hospital, State police last night captured Luft in Cape May, where he had been working as an interior decorator. Luft told police he came to this coun- try 12 years ago from Vienna and was working in Cape May to secure money to pursue his studies ‘n painting at the delphia Academy of Fine Arts. Not Wanted Here.
