INLLED, ONEHURT IN ARPLANE CRISH Machine Operated by Blue- field Man Falls Near Staunton. @pécial Dispatch to The Star. BTAUNTON, Va., November. 10.— Three men were instantly killed and a third serfously injured when an air- plane, owned and piloted by Jarius Collins, jr., of Bluefield: W. Va., crashed near Bowling flying fleld, 4 miles from Staunton, yesterday afternoon. The dead: Jarius Collins, jr., Samuel Alexander 22, Greenlee P. Bosserman, 22, both Mount Sidney. . Paul Rimel of Augusta County suf- fered a broken leg, & broken arm and other injuries. He was removed to & Jocal hospital.. Had Just Taken Off. ARLINGTON, Va., November 10.— One brother was killed and another critically injured yesterday morhing when the automobile in which they were returning from a dance crashed into a telephone pole on Columbia Pike, near Bingham road. The dead man is Newland Mangum, 21 years of age, and the injured, Glen Mangum, 22 years old, both of 605 North Carolina ave- nue southeast, Washington. According to Policeman John R. Burke of the Arlington County force, the brothers had been to a dance at Baileys Cross Roads and were return- ing to their home in Washington at the time of the accident. They were apparently traveling at a high rate of speed, he claims, since the automobile in which they were riding was com- pletely demolished.
