Saturday Yola Vermairion and Elizabeth Smith both took out licenses to wed, which doesn’t mean very much unless you known your movies. But Yola Vermairion lu%pem to be Yola D’Avril and Elizabeth Smith is none other than Betty Boyd. Both girls are 22, and neither has been marrie before, facts that approach ‘record” material in Holllywood. Yola D'Avril gained recognition in| her portrayal of one of those naughty French girls in “All Quiet on the West- | ern Pront” In fact, they made such| a hit that one of the studios has made a picture called “Those Three French Girls,” with Yola as one of the three. Charlie Farrell here in Hollywood was taking out Justine Johnstone, a very close friend of Virginia Valli and Colleen Moore, and it was quite obviously friendly among them all, with no thought of rivalry. But the hint of wedding bells be- tween the two becomes stronger. It's been rumored these couple of years now.
