DISTRICT SINGERS T0 HAVE AUDITION Radio Audience to Help Se- lect Winners for New York Broadcast. ‘The DiStrict finals in the fourth na- ‘Honal radio audition of the Atwater Kent Foundation will be broadcast tonight by WRC. Eight young Washington singers, four young women and four young men, will participate. The radio audience will be asked to help select the winners—a boy and a girl—who will represent the Nation's Capital in the Northeast district audi- tion, to be held in New York. The finalists are Aurelia Beck, Florence Yo- cum, Ina Holtzscheiter, Helen C. Dalby, Gluseppe Bruno, Harold B. Cornweil, Jr.; Leonard Davis, and Edwin C. Steffe. Brand-New Number Arranged. A program of lively tunes from recent Broadway musical shows will be played by Coon Sanders’ Qrchestra in the Florsheim Frolic. The specialty will be a brand-new number, “Lucky Old Son,” which will be sung by a quartet assisted by_the orchestra. Three prominent song writers will be the guest artists in the program of the mpg' ‘Wonder Bakers—Charles K. Harrls, dean of “Tin Pan Alley": Percy Wenrich, and Walter Donaldson.
