CUTTER IS LAUNCHED OAKLAND, Calif., September 12 (#). —The United States Coast Guard cut- ter Shoshone was launched here yes- terday. The Shoshone's keel was laid last January 15. Work of construct- ing the superstructure will occupy four months, then the craft will be taken to Mare Island Navy Yard, where guns will be installed.
