LOS ANGELES, June 20.—Defense charge that District Attorney Buron Fitts promised leniency to Otto San- huber if the latter would repeat to the grand jury his confession of the slaying of Fred Oesterreich, wealthy manufac- turer, today enlivened Sanhuber’s trial for murder.
