Class night exercises for the seniors of all schools of George Washington University will be held at 8:30 o'clock tonight in Corcoran Hall, at which time special prizes and awards will be pre- sented by Dr. Cloyd Heck Marvin, pres- ident of the university. The seniors will be graduated at 8 o'clock tomorrow night in the commencement at Memo- rial Continental Hall. Among _the important ceremonies which will mark tonight's program is the presentation of the senior class| mantle to next year's prospective grad- uates. The class oration, class histo and class poem will be delivered to- | night also. An out-of-doors concert by | the Men’s Glee Club of George Wash ington will be given on the campus fol ‘lowing the formal indoor program and the evening will be ended with dancing until 2 am. By virtue of high scholarship, Vir-| ginia Shull, Columbian College senior, | will give the salutatory address, and | George B. Wigderson, a senior in the School of Medicine, will deliver the valedictory. Donald Sickler, president of the senior class of Columbian College, will resent the senior class mantle to Bart- ey Gordon, representing next year's seniors. Charles G. A resolution indorsing proposed legislation to prevent the overcrowding of theaters was adopted by the Piney Branch Citizens’ Association at its final meeting of this season, in the Hamline M. E. SENATE SEEKING DATA |ON CIVIL SERVICE QUOTAS Asks Commission for List of Clas- sified Employes From States, Territories and the District. ‘The Civil Service Commission is di- rected, under a resolution adopted yes- terday, to furnish the Senate a list of the names of all employes in the classi- fled service from States, territories and the District of Columbia, whose quotas are in excess of their apportionment, and who have been appointed since No- vember 11, 1918.
