FIVE PERSONS HURT INAUTO ACCIDENTS Two Pedestrians Struck, One by Hit-and-Run Driver on Sheridan Road. A collision between two automobiles at PFifth and Longfellow streets early last night resulted in injuries to three persons. A short while before two pedestrians were run down by mo- torists, one by a hit-and-run driver. Those hurt in the Longfellow street accident are Grant Billings, 44, and his wife, Mrs. Bessie Billings, of 1147 Rhode Island avenue northeast, and Mrs, 1 W. Schaeffer, 30, of 5503 Six- teenth. They were treated at Garfield | Hospital. The Billings were occupants of an | automobile driven by Jarvis B. Cissel | of 117 Rhode Island avenue northeast, while Mrs. Schaeffer was riding with her husband, John P.
