THE EVENING MASONIC MEMORIAL GROUP IN SESSION National Association Con- venes in Alexandria to Plan Completion of Temple. ‘The annual meeting of the George ‘Washington National Masonic Memo- rial Association opened in Alexandria today in the auditorium of the Masonic ‘Temple now under construction. The Eelhmmlry meeting was held in Wash- gton yesterday. Reports from delegates from the vari- ous States on the collection of money for the continuance of work on the temple will be the principal business foday, and on these reports will be ‘based the plans for the amount of work to be done on the building for the com- ing year. It is expected that an appropriation will be made to finish the stone work on the tower of the temple, which is located on Shooters Hill, overlooking Alexandria. Sessions both this morning and afternoon were devoted exclusively to_business. ‘Tomorrow’s session, which will be held in the Alexandria-Washington rooms, will adjourn with the election of officers at noon, and in the afternoon the delegates will make their annual pligrimage lfl Mount Vernon, ‘where a wreath will be on the tomb of Washington, 1t is expected that the present officers and board of directors of the associa- tion will be re-elected tomorrow.
