Walter Thompson Advertising Agency. By the Associated Press. NEW YORK, February 11.—Samuel Moffitt, retired capitalist, died yesterday in his Park avenue home from a heart attack. He was 69 years old. Mr. Moffit was born in St. Louis, Mo, and came to New York in 1905 as a partner in the J. Walter Thompson Ad- vertising Agency. He retired from ac- tive business 15 years ago, but since had been occupled ‘in various enter- prises In_which he had large invest- ments.
