TUCSON, Ariz., November 25 (#).—A jury in Federal District Court Saturday night found Dr. W. V. Whitmore, former chancellor of the University of Arizona, guilty of conspiracy to violate the Fed- eral narcotic laws. Tito Flores, Tuc- son druggist, co-defendant with Dr. Whitmore, also was found guilty. The State charged that Dr. Whitmore wrote excessive prescriptions for nar- cotics, which were filled by Fl when he came with his family from In- dianapolis.
