Koones—Ledig Wedding Took Place This Morning. ‘The marriage of Miss Violet Ledig, daughter of Mrs. Emma Riggs Ledig, to Mr. Charles Carr Koones, son of Dr. and Mrs. Charles Kneller Koones, took place this morning at 9 o'clock in St. Matthew’s Church, Mgr. Edward L. Buckey officiating. The church was | decorated with tall standards of flowers and as the guests were assembling Mr. Malton Boyce gave a program of organ selections and Miss Helen Gallagher, contralto, sang a solo. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Mr. Herschel C. Ledig, and she wore a dark-green velvet gown, with a hat and slippers and other accessories to match. Her corsage bouquet was of white gardenias and yellow roses. The bride’s mother was her matron of honor and she wore a gown of king's blue and accessories to match and she carried & bouquet of pink roses. Dr. Charles K. Koones was the best man for his son. A wedding breakfast followed the ceremony in the home of the bride- groom's parents for members of the immediate families.
