6TH PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH FINISHED Opening Sermon Will Be Held on Thanksgiving Day in New Edifice. The new Sixth Presbyterian Church | at Sixteenth and Kennedy streets, has been completed and opening services will be held Thanksgiving day at 10 o'clock. Dr. Godfrey Chobot, the pastor, will preach a special sermon. The dedi- cation exercises will be held later. Ground was broken for the main part of the church on January 2 last and the first spade of earth was turned by E C Dee, chairman of the building com- The design is an adaptation of Frénch-Norman architecture by the architect, Joseph Younger. The builder is James L. Parsons, jr. The tower is about 90 feet in height. The exterior is constructed of rubble stofie, with facing and trim of Indiana tone and polished granite. Im- predsive walnut doors open into the vesiibule of paneled walnut, beyond which the narthex extends in paneling of the same wood.
