125 * CHURCH CAMPAIGN 1S SERMON TOPIC Dr. C. Ernest Smith to Preach at St. Thomas’ Tomor- row Morning. Dr. C. Emnest Smith, rector of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, will preach & sermon tomorrow morning on the sub- ject of the “Every Member Campaign.” ‘Those members who are going eut next Sunday to interview the members of each family in the parish will be formally commissioned to the work by the rector and a brief address given at the close of the usual sermon. These are the captains working under the gen- eral leadership of T. W. Seay: Mrs. R. H. A, Carter, William R. Ellis, Maj. Q. J. Gatchell, Col. R. H. Hallett, Col. | H. W. Hobbs, Mrs. J. F. Howard. A silver tea was held yesterday in St. Thomas' Hall by the Woman's Auxiliary. ‘Than| day there will be two celebrations of the holy eucharist, at 8 and 11 o'clock. Dr. William 8. Bishop will be the preacher at 11 o'clock. ‘There will be a corporate communion of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew through the country on December 1 and this church's service will be held at 8 o'clock, and not only are all Brother- hood men expected to be present, but other men, not members of the Brother- hood, but communicants of the church, are invited to be present.
