Miss Mary Parrish Bradley, returned to their home, Rosemont Farm, on the Rock- ville pike, early in the week, after a European tour, on which they started early in the Summer. They were ac- companied by Miss Margaret Ayres ot New York. Mrs. Bradley and daughter have taken an apartment in Washing- ton for the Winter and wul remove there November 1. Miss Bradley ex- pects to make her debut in society at an early date. In compliment to Miss Rosalie Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Jones of Dickerson, whose marriage to Mr. Jay Freeman of Washington is soon to take place, Miss Elsie Lee Chiswell Thursday evehing entertained at a shower in the home of her brother- in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Warner E. Pumphrey, in Rockville, the guests numbering 15. Mrs. Mary W. Moore and daughter, Miss Virginia Moore, of Gaithersburg, are visiting Mrs. Moore's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sheetz, in Winchester, Va., expecting to be there two weeks. Mrs. J.
