Nine persons were injured in Wash- ington and nearby Maryland in a series of Labor day traffic accidents reported to police last night and this morning. Two persons were slightly injured on the Washington-Baltimore boulevard near Laurel last night, when a large heavily-laden produce truck and & ‘Washington-Baltimore bus are said to have sideswiped each other. Frank Cooks. 25 years old, of Culpeper, Va., driving the truck, was arrested on reaching Laurel, police being advised that he failed to stop at the time of the crash.
