The twenty-fifth anniversary of the founding of Camp Good Will in Rock Creek Park, which has provided Sum- | mer outings for thousknds of children | and mothers—was celebrated at the cemp last night. John Joy Edson, who hax served, since its inception. &s chairman fo the Summer Outings Com- mittee of the Associated Charities, which conducts the camp, presided. ‘The celebration was held on the grassy playground of the camp and was participated in by about 200 mothers and children attending camp, in addi- tion to approximately 50 guests, A fea- ture was the cutting of & huge cake, containing & candle for each yedr of the camp's existence, bv Mr. Edson. Mr. Edson in a brief address empha- Mrzed the purpose of the camp to aid in building “better citizens.” Dwelling briefly on the history of the camp. Mr, Edson recalled the names of many persons assoclated with the camp during its early vears of existence. Many of these have since passed away.
