NEW YORK, August 10.—Three part- ners of Clarke Brothers, 80-year-old private bank, yesterday were sentenced to serve terms in a Federa) prison on charges growing out of the $5,000,000 crash of the bank June 29. Another partner also received a prison sentence but it was commuted to pro- bation. All four had pleaded guilty to Federal and State indictments resulting from the failure. James Rae Clarke, senlor partner in the bank his grandfather founded, was sentenced to eight years 4n the Federal penitentiary at Atlanta, Ga. He also was given a suspended sentence not to exceed eight years in the New York State penitentiary.
