Miller, of 410 East Bellefonte avenue, Potomac, Va., lost her life on a trip to the community store for groceries | yesterday afternoon. An automobile driven by Amos B. Groves, 25, of 26 Dix street, Rosemont Park, Alexandria, struck the child as she ran in the path of the machine on River road between Washington and Alexandria, a short distance from her home. i The child was hurled into the road- | way in front of the car, which rolled ! across the body. She died nearly five | hours later at Alexandria Hospital. Groves was taken into custddy by Arlington County police for investiga- tion and later was released under $2,000 bond for appearance before Police Justice Harry Thomas at the Arling- ton County courthouse Monday morning at 9 o'clock. - No arrangements have | ‘been made as yet for an inquest.
