Gregory, who is serving as stated supply until Octo- | ber 1. Mr. Gregory is a graduate of | Hamilton College, Clinton, N. Y., also | of Princeton Theological Seminary. He | has pursued special studies at Edin- | burgh and has traveled extensively in | Europe. i Mr. Gregory has served in the ca- pacity of student assistant and as- sistant minister at the First Presby- terian Church of Utica, N. Y., for three Summers. The subject of the sermon tomorrow morning will be “The Law in Our Hearts.” The midweek service last Thursday evening was the beginning of a series of brief studies of some of the more significant prayers and lyric expres- sions of praise and reverence found both in the Old and New Testaments. The next of this series to be consid- ered is “A Psalm of Joy." All departments of the Sunday school have adjourned for the Summer ex- cept the All-Comers’ Bible Class of men, which will continue to meet at 9:45 o'clock each Sunday morning. The topic discussed at the Christian Endeavor meeting at 7 o'clock tomor- Tow will be “Religious Poetry of To- day,” Miss Jessie McElhiney, leader. Tea and social at 6:30 o'clock. HUSIRER, FOUNDING OF CHURCH T0 BE CELEBRATED Albright Memorial Church Is Three Years Old This Month, Three years ago, the last Sunday of June, Albright Memorial Evangelical Church conducted its first service in a tent at the corner of Fourth and Rittenhouse streets. The anniversary of this event will be celebrated to- morrow morning at both the Sunday School and church service. Gillie to Fill Pulpit at Central Presbyterian Church Tomorrow. | \ Dr. R. C. Gillie, for many years the | pastor of the Marylebone Presbyterian | Church of London, England, will preach | tomorrow morning and night at the | Central Presbyterian Church. _Dr. Gillle has been a delegate to the Pan- Presbyterian Council, recently in ses- sion in Boston, at which meeting Dr. James H. Taylor, pastor of the Cen- tral Presbyterian Church, *also was a delegate. Dr. Gillie is well known throughout England _and Scotland as one of the leading Presbyterian ministers and oc- cuples important positions both in the religious and the social work of his country. He now is preaching in Bath, England, to which church he was called about two years ago. Two delegates from the Loyal Wom- en’s Class will attend the conference at Westminster, Md.,, from July 5 to 7 of the Organized Bible Class Assocla- tion of the District of Columbia. At the begininng of the year a league or covenant was entered into by 56 persons obligating themselves to be present at each midweek prayer service for six months.
