The Bureau of Navigation has turned this Aind over to the pictorial section of the Daval records mt?. library, of which P. R. Burke is in charge. In the collection just found are plc- $ures of many of the naval men who Jost their lives in the line-of duty and naval officials point out that this will prove a boon to the men, who will now have an opportunity 1o secure phetographs of their lost ones from the department. When the World ‘War was at its height in the middle of 1918, the department sent out a circular letter, requesting relatives and friends to send photographs of officers and en- listed men of the naval establishment who died in the service.
