ANNAPOLIS, Md., March 30.—An~ other comparatively quiet week end was spent in Annapolis, due to. the absence of all games and the depafture of the Pennsyl , yet there was a record of feature entertainment. ‘The first base ball of the season took place Wi when the Mid- ¢les and Penn State men met. The first large entertainment was the card party given for the benefit of the S. P, C. A. Tuesday vel Hall. This was very largely at- tended and a good sum was realized for the charity. Halsey, who is a stydent at Great Barrington, Mass., and visiting her parents on the Reina Mercedes; Miss Lucille Ber- tolete, who is a student at Dobbs Ferry on the Hudson, and who is visiting her mother, Mrs. L. and her aunt and uncle, Comdr. and Mrs. M. E. Manly, at their residence, on Prince Georges street; Miss Barbara Woodward,, daughter of Mrs. Charlton E. Battle, who is a student at the Holton Arms, Washington, and who is visiting at the home of her parents, on Upshur road.
