Born in Elizabeth, N. J.,, Mr. Biddle first came to Washington about 40 years ago, when his father, the late Gen. James Biddle, was stationed at Fort Myer. Alw:ys active in club circles, Mr, Biddle served as member manager of the Metropolitan Club from 1908 to 1918, and was secretary and manager of the Racquet Club from 1921 to 1927. He also was a member of the Chevy Chase Club and the Alibi Club.
