H. FRANK DODD, FORMER MILLER, IS DEAD AT 68 Buccumbs After Illness of Ten Days—-Funeral Set for Tomorrow. W. Frank Dodd, 69 years old, former miller of Bladensburg and Hyattsville, Md., died at his home, 920 North Caro- lina avenue southeast, yesterday, after an iliness of 10 days. Mr. Dodd at one time. operated a stand in the Eastern Market here. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Fairbairn, 60 years old, of 755 Princeton place, veteran writer and publicity man, died in Providence Hos- pital yesterday. He had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Fairbairn was for a number of years a member of the staff of the Brooklyn Eagle and at one time a re- porter for The Star. He had been en- gaged in publicity work and special writing for the past several years.
